Carter the Dragon... Jordan the Turtle.... and Kailey the Little Mermaid! we had a fun time trunk or treating at Ryan and Annalyns... we got peoples candy and they had no idea who we were!

I think. . . I am always right, but Shaun tries to prove otherwise

I search. . . for everything Shaun can't find and find it (i didn't notice Wendy put this too. I wonder if the condie boys do it on purpose?)
I wonder. . . why i cant get everything done i want to, maybe i should get off the Internet?
I regret. . . no being a bazillionare, maybe one day?
I wish. . . i was totally organized and on top of my game
I love. . . my kids and husband and family, and holding my kids when they are asleep
I care. . . about getting my kids on a routine, even though it doesn't always work out
I worry. . I am not doing enough
I am not. . . a boy, or pregnant, or as skinny as I want to be
I remember. . nothing right now.. i am drawing a blank
I believe. . the children are our future, teach them well and let them lead the way, show them all the beauty they posses inside
I sing. . . "daughters of Triton" to my girls every night before bed... don't ask.. they are weird!
I don't always...wash my hair everyday.. come on admit it.. neither do you guys!
I argue. . . with the dish and sprint people every few months because they like to add fees.. way annoying
I write... list everywhere. my calendar up-stairs, down-stairs, in my purse, on note pads and i throw them away and start all over several times a day
I win. . . most games i play, I'm pretty good at most everything
I lose. . . my patience when i am tired
I listen. . . to rap and any other music besides country just so that when Shaun gets in the car he can say "what were you listening to?" (he basically only listens to country)
I don't understand. . . why Shaun hasn't realized that he can make me happy by doing the little things like cleaning up or just doing what i do?
I can usually be found. . at home, on my computer, baking cookies or cleaning my house.
I need. . . read my scriptures and pray more
I forget. . . that all of life is just part of something bigger
I am happy. . . when i go to bed with a clean house, when its the weekend and I get to spend it with Shaun, when we finish projects, when the kids are good and carter is happy

Tackle it Tuesday

So I got this idea from my sister in law Kathy and I have been wanting to paint these stools since before we moved into the house! I should have done a before and after picture, but they used to be light wood with paint splatters on them we brought from our previous house... now they are black and match! it took me a total of oh.. 10 min... Shaun is out of town and I am doing all sorts of things! (notice the very clean kitchen, and I even put up Halloween decorations.. don't mind Halloween is Friday) He better come home quick before i spray paint a mural of him in my bed!

A busy organizing weekend!

The Attic: after a little organizing and putting in some walkway we finally have all the kids clothes, decorating and misc summer items away! it got even better when Shaun came home to help and cut me another piece of wood for the right buckets.

The second shelf: I don't know how we have accumulated so much stuff!!! while we were building these we thought "wow, we are going to have so much room!" but we didn't, we could even use a little more! I would like to assume it isn't useless crap either its camping stuff, boating stuff, cleaning supplies, winter clothes, crafts, tools, outside games, 72 hr kits, bikes.. is there some memo i didn't read in what to do with it all? what does everyone else do with all their seasonal things???

Well, we started building a food shelf last week and this week we did one more plus the attic! Surprisingly it didn't take more than 2 evening of hard work, then the organizing part (which of course was for me to do) I think they look so pretty.

We were in the car coming home from dinner and buying her Halloween costume when Kailey started busting out with all the correct words for "part of my world" I couldn't help but pull over and record it (that is why its so dark and you can hear an ambulance in the background) she messed up a little but I was impressed with her 4 yr old memory of The Little Mermaid (she is obviously going to be Ariel for Halloween)

Girls know more than boys

Saturday we were too busy to pay attention to the kids so Shaun put a show on for them (don't judge me, i know all you parents out there do it)
Kailey came into my room and we had the following conversation:
Kailey: Mom, can you believe what daddy said about the movie?
Mom: no, what did he say?
K: he said the movie was dumb, we don't say that do we?
M: No we don't say that
K: it's OK he said it, he just doesn't know, girls know more than boys don't they
M: yes girls know more than boys
K: but Jesus knows more than everyone right?
M: yeah thats right

The dreaded Garage

We decided to clean out the garage so we pulled everything out to build a few shelves
The end of day 1 we had to put everything back in disorganized. (I am hiding in here somewhere see if you can find me!)
End of day 2.. I have a pretty handy husband! this is just the first section *8ft)done. He made me rolling shelves and everything! we still have a ways to go (12 more ft!).... I really don't know why we chose to create more projects when we already have SEVERAL we should be working on, does anyone else do this?

Well I had a day off!! I haven't had a weekday off in what seems like forever, so we decided to actually go and do something!!! We went to Thanksgiving Points "Barnyard Boo" with Kate, Grace and Blake, Heather, Chloe and Brooklyn, and Wendy, Spencer, Preston and Emily. It was a lot of fun and such a nice day. Kinda makes me wish I had a few more days off babysitting!

PS- that last post wasn't supposed to be so long, the pictures were intended to be small, that way it wasn't so big, but it didn't work out that way and it was too much trouble to go back and shrink them all...

The Red Barn

Its that time of year again! Off to the Pumpkin Patch! even though we have one about 2 min from our house we decided to to to Santaquin's Red Barn, of course as soon as we took the hayride out Kailey had to "pee so bad" she had to "water" the barren side of the pumpkin patch. I don't know if anyone else who has a 4 year old has this problem but as soon as we go someplace its immediate bathroom time???

After picking pumpkins we got ice cream.. it was the best Ice cream i have had in a long time!

Even Carter liked it! Me and the girls got blue mint (white choc chips, mint with oreos! YUM!)

Jordan tried a few pumpkins out, the rule was they had to be able to carry it, so she would carry it for a bit then drop it and say "to heaby mommy" and try and find another one...

She found a small green one that was prefect, and she wouldn't let it go!

i hope you can hear the laughing and high pitched squeals! he is getting so big (ok not big he is in the 5th percentile for weight) but he rolls over both sides, scoots and laughs! I guess Shaun and I produce smart babies! (they get it from Shaun! the get their good looks from me :))

Happy Birthday Grandpa Clyde

Well, my birthday is come and gone, and now its time to celebrate Clyde's Birthday! We are so lucky to have such good parents and grandparents in our lives! Thanks for always being so generous and thoughtful of us, we appreciate you and love it when you come and visit! We hope you have a great birthday!!

This was the birthday cake Jess made for me, it was so thoughtful of her to make a homemade cake for me! Shaun added the candles to remind me I am getting older!
The kids helped me blow out my candles and make a wish.. a few times!
Do I have anything on my face? How do i have such cute kids?
We got a babysitter and went to Spaghetti factory, we basically ate the bread, the salad a few bites of delicious Mizithra and all of the Spumoni and took the rest home for left overs! I love their mizithra and browned butter! even better when you can have it a few times!
I got to go shopping with some birthday money from my mom and got some cute clothed! It started out just a regular (actually not the regular, it started out sucky) but ended up fun, who doesn't like to go shopping???
