The more kids you have the harder it is to get everyone happy and looking at the camera! Carter chose to pretend to be sleeping. It was "his day" so i guess it works!

Well Carter was blessed today, we are so lucky to have so much family come to be part of his special day! Shaun did a great job on the blessing are hopefulyl we have a happy funny kid on our hand! I mean how can he not with his totally AWESOME hair!

Ode to the olympics

How Michael Phelps got his start.....

I saw this on someones blog and thought it was pretty funny! The Olympics were pretty great! I think Shaun and I had a few favorite events, Speed walking for starters! those people are amazing, their hips sure can move! he was fond of ping pong and badminton, and we loved swimming and the sprints. Shaun has taken on the challenge of thinking he can run a 1/4 of a mile in a minute... i have wagered money on this! Olympians do it in like 42 seconds... if he gets close, you may just see him in London in 4 years?!!! They really know how to get you exercising.. oh wait, i haven't done anything since they ended..... Sad to see them over because i still have some baby weight to lose!

I wish every day was a lake day!

Parker was such a good older cousin to Kailey, he pushed her on the swings, played with her all the time, I think she made anew favorite cousin, she barely left his side! he was so sweet to her the entire time!

row row row your boat! not the best picture but Shaun and I and others took turns rowing out to the booeys ( I have no idea how to spell that?) and back, when we weren't on the boat, it was pretty warm water for bear lake this year!

It was a blast! unfortunately we all forgot cameras on the boat so no pictures of the amazing water weenie adventures, we all tried skiing and wake boarding, and Shaun did the wake skate too. Ryan had his jet skis and we played tennis, went swimming had a little diving competition in honor of the Olympics, ate at La Beau's... it was a lot of fun. the only not so fun part was having one room with me, Shaun and 3 kids in it. I think it may be time for me to face the music and realize i have a full blown family now and need more than one bedroom!!

First day of soccer practice! She was so excited she barely slept the night before and then about 1/2 hr before she crashed! so I had to wake her up to put her gear on and go!

Carter is smiling! i love it, he is pretty good at smiling on demand. I am so lucky to have such a happy kid!
My studious kid! She isn't enrolled in Pre-school but she loves to do her "homework" we try to sit down and do 10 pages a day and normally she get s few extra in!

I uploaded my pictures and found at least 20 pictures of Ty Ty, i think she is getting the hang of taking pictures, I am surprised there isn't one of him in the fridge. She likes to have her Ty Ty and blanket cold, and what better place than in the fridge!? I find him in there all the time! its hilarious!

My brute strength holding up the top piece. I had a neck ache for 3 days!! that sucker is BIG and HEAVY!
So far it looks good! hopefully we keep the momentum going!

We still have a ways to go, but this cabinet, or pieces of cabinet have been sitting in my garage in one form or another. I think the wood sat for about 3 months, then he built them and they sat for about 3 months, then he started to stain them and waited about month and finally i did the next 2 coats and basically begged for him to put them in. They are far from complete. We still have to build drawers, cut out door fronts, install hardware and much more! we did cut the desk piece last night, so I HOPE to see a finished result within the next month.... i am so ready for this project to be done!

I may look like a pro loading the shot gun but i think i was 9/20 on my shots... i can blame half of them on Shaun's throws... he isn't the most accurate thrower i have ever see. Me on the other hand am know for my flighty pigeons!
Shaun would love our backyard to look like this. One of his dream in buying a house would be to be able to shoot right out his back door. We obviously wont be living near ANYONE!

Who would have thought with 3 kids we could actually go on a date? we decided against the usual dinner and a movie and went to dinner and shooting! i haven't been in a long time and you could tell by my hit or not hits.... it was lots of fun to go when it wasn't freezing on the ground! and it was so pretty up in mapleton.
