the debut of the Black fighting Knife

you asked for it, here is the knife in all its glory, it only cost $40 bones! When shaun got it he immediately got out his knife sharpening kit and went to town. he is prepared for anything now!

my father-in-law is redoing his kitchen and gave us a few of his old cabinets he wasn't using and Tim brought them to us (thanks Tim and Kristen!) we put them up in the garage the day I got back in town, and they look great! it feels like I have a kitchen in my garage! its funny how when we get the bug to do stuff we organize the garage, it looks great and holds A LOT of stuff. I think it is my favorite place in the house, it has everything and i need and is organized, what more can i ask for? my husband rules- he is so handy!!!

We spent the day at Manhattan Beach, we thought since we are Utahans it would be too cold, but it kinda was, it was so fun to be there with Wendy and the kids and they had so much fun having Uncle Shaun play with them and bury them. I was glad he was there to entertain and not have to worry about anyone except Carter

Happy 21st Birthday Jessie! we had lunch at PF Chang's, she went to Hannah Montana with Chris, Kailey and my mom and yes that was what she wanted for her 21st birthday present.... then pedicures and dinner at the spectrum.

Shaun went all out and got the big car for only Jordan, apparently when you pull, they just come out without paying... It might have been yanked... i wasn't there.

Grandma Rhonda was in town and we celebrated Kailey's birthday while she was in town, Kailey has been dying to to go to Chuck-E-Cheese "where a kid can be a kid" she loved it! you know that game where the light goes around a circle and you have to try to stop in on the target and win lots of tickets, not to brag but i hit that 2x! that's right, i am the best gamer EVER! we had a lot of fun. Thanks mom!

car crash story and other random facts

apparently he "fell asleep" behind the wheel, ran over our neighbors tree, 2 utility boxes, our tree and the proceeded through our fence. we are waiting to hear from his insurance company but we aren't sure if hes covered. we'll keep you posted!

My parents and Bro and sis-in law were in town, Ryan found out what he's (well Annalyn's) having.. i know what it is, but i will let him post his news, seeing as he is on his way home to ID. it was a fun weekend and full of "i have to go potty's" but most were successful trip or at least farts. we went to the bathroom 7 times in chili's. The girls is filled with gas! luckily the last 2 produced real results. i feel like she automatically grew up, who would have thought not changing diapers makes a parent feel kinda sad.

Shaun is sitting at the table sharpening his "Black Fighting Knife" yes, my husband is that cool. i mean who doesn't need random weaponry that could kill? according to him "its awesome, i can use it as a weapon and to cut down trees" now that is a multi tasking item!

potty update:

i hope its mastered. I know everyone is just waiting to see how Jordans bowel movements are going, that is why I am going to share them!
day3: one 1/2 accident (part in her underwear, part in the toilet) no other accidents! wahoo!!!!
day 4: same as day 3, first one of the day in her underwear and toilet but once she goes free of underwear there are no more accidents! success!!!
day5: one accident, under the stairs, apparently she couldn't get out in time. but she has an excellent record! she even went diaper-less last night and woke up dry! amazing!!!
