After Christmas in Big Bear

There wasn't much snow but there was a tiny little hill that was good enough for the girls!! Here is Lily going down on her sled!
Mom and Dad In the cabin getting ready to make hot chocolate and watch a movie. We did some reading as well, at one point every single one of us (9 adults) we all reading, it was pretty funny, we are just getting old!

Shaun and Kailey. He was the pusher and she was actually a lot braver than I thought she would be!

Mom and Jessie after hanging out in town. Jordan was NOT a fan of sledding. We sent her down anyway to toughen her up... may not have been the best idea, especially by herself! it was pretty funny, she tried to get off but then was afraid to move! no wonder she hated it the next time we went! We are such mean parents!!!

Kailey and Lily! best cousins! they definitely got to spend a lot of time together over December. Lily successfully turned Kailey into a girly girl! They dressed up and played kitchen and princesses ALL DAY EVERY DAY! she now loves to put her Cinderella dress on and play with her vanity!

Not my best picture but i have several excuses! 1. I'm pregnant 2. i woke up like 10 min earlier 3. it was freaking 15 degrees outside!!! Jordan would not let me put her down after her little sledding experience!
We were only there for one night and a day and then headed out to Clyde's we had a lot of fun but we also had the snow at home to not look forward too!!

The Crack is everywhere!

And She's done...
Well while in California we went to the beach in December and built dolphin sand castles and dug holes for us to bury the kids in while we napped... ok not napped but they did get buried. It was pretty funny. I thought I would post the Crack Picture first because its just a classic Kailey pose. when is her crack NOT showing??
Dad Making Sand Castles and trying to get them as dirty as possible
Kailey and Jordan buried! Jordan was ok with it for about 3 seconds and then she was ready to be free

Jordan was afraid of the sand at first but then decided she really liked it. She even didn't mind the really cold water!

We're Baaack.. kinda

Well we made it back.. kinda. we went to Hawaii had the best time ever and then came home. I was supposed to come home on Sun and then turn around and drive back to Cali for Christmas but in the end Shaun and I decided it probably wasn't worth the extra 20 hours of driving and 200 bucks in gas, so he flew home as planned and I am still here, i will be here until next year! CRAZY! i have not been gone for that long in a long time! Now i am at my dad's perfume shop trying to earn some Christmas money because i wont be babysitting! fun fun! actually i like the shop! I would post some pictures but this computer doesn't have the right connection to my camera so maybe next time.. anyway. in Hawaii...
We got there and they said it was the worst storm they had had in over 20 years, worse than any hurricane.. awesome! half the island was out of power luckily not our hotel so it was bad, but it turned out OK, we got there for the last 2 days so we did things anyway, it was still 85ish and shorts and T-shirt weather so we hiked the seven sacred pools (and witnessed a really cool flash flood and then decided our trail was going under and we better hurry back) then we went to a pineapple plantation, snorkeled in the rain, and then it decided to get sunny, so we went on a helicopter ride of the island and Molokai, then laid out and got tan, i am sure it will all be gone by the time i get home but Shaun said "you like a lot better with a tan" thanks Captain Obvious! who doesn't? it was funny. We had some friends come over from the big island and played games and laid out, we drove up the Haleakala crater and did a little mini hike. it was so nice! it was really hard to come back to reality (aka KIDS) but i don't think i have ever seen Kailey so excited to see us! she came with my dad to the airport to pick us up and was practically out of the car jumping when she saw us. it was cute. So now we are here is 65 degree weather instead of 85 degree weather and thankfully not in 25 degree weather! I think we are sold on moving back to California.. someday..... so now we get to buy Christmas here and Shaun gets to bring me a lot of stuff because i wasn't prepared for the long haul stay! anyway. i hope you all enjoyed my novel! and enjoy the weather where ever you are! pictures to come soon...

Seeing Santa

They told me I wasn't allowed to take my own pictures so i did it anyway and they are blurry but, i think this is the first time Kailey has seen Santa, so obviously it was Jordan's too. Jordan was a really hesitant until she got her blanket and then was fine. Kailey did good, she went straight up to him and told him she wanted a baby alive doll and a vanity, which she got from Santa!

Helping Grandpa Rake the Leaves

Well, i cant believe it is almost 10 days into the year already! We are getting by, but man trying to start the new year off right is hard!!! I don't know if any of you set yourself up with goal that keep you busy, but man... not being lazy is hard! Kailey made herself a few New Years resolutions all by herself. 1. learn to ride a bike 2. learn to write the alphabet and 3 (my favorite) Eat and drink everyday!

Anyway, these pictures are when we were in Cali staying with Shaun's Dad Clyde. He raked the leaves and put Kailey i the trash to smash them down... Jordan wasn't the biggest fan of the idea

Hawaii Pictures

This was the first day we got here, it was raining on and off and I thought it looked like the sun wanted to come through but just couldn't quite make it! The other is of Shaun and there were crabs ALL over the rocks, of course when i took the picture they all scattered, the water is so murky because it was the worst storm to pass through in over 20 years and the run off from the mountains was red and made the water look disgusting! We went on an AWESOME helicopter ride!!! Amy and Ryan (friends from California who moved over to the big Island) cane and visited us for a good 36hrs. and they came with us. it was so pretty, it rained of course but it was still really pretty and the waterfalls were bigger because they had so much rain. They also said it was a lot greener because of the rain. The last pictures was on "the road to Hanna" at the 7 sacred pools. We saw a few hikers on our way up that told us not to go and that the trail was washing out. we hiked up to the midpoint (about 3 miles), and we noticed the waterfall seemed to quadruple in size and the trail we were on started to disappear and became a river so we decided to head back down. .. flash floods, not my thing. but it was so pretty and really fun, we were soaked through all layers of our clothes but it was still about 70. I don't think it would have been as fun if it hadn't have been raining so hard! I guess we will have to go during dry season to test that theory out?!!

Well believe it or not we didn't take too many pictures in Hawaii, As you will see I mainly took pictures on the days it was rainy... i guess we were too busy to bring the camera down to the beach the other days? It was a lot of fun even though the weather wasn't the best the entire time. I would go back in a heartbeat!!!
