a little shake for my dog
Carter got a hold of a shake, it dripped all down his leg and onto the floor for anna to reap the benefits as well

He's just a big kid
Shaun had some sort of "system" when getting rid of the grass and dirt, to me it looked like his system was put in anywhere on the grass, if not everywhere.
if you look closely Shaun's is doing his "thinking face" he had a lot of fun and so did the girls... carter was another story, constantly looking scared and up at Shaun to check if the bumping, loud noises and mayhem was normal, it was funny.
it was sad to see our lovely green, unlevel grass go, but Shaun got to enjoy it on Tim's skidster- apparently i call it the wrong name, it isn't a back-ho and it isn't technically a bob cat.. who knew? i am such novice apparently? all I DO KNOW is that it levels out grass and when doing 360 its turns up and ruins other grass that was not intentionally meant to be torn up... i guess that's the price you pay for getting a patio and extending your driveway. he has been hard at work or 3 days straight!

happy mothers Day to me
The reason I can enjoy mothers day I wanted to go up the canyon so we packed a picnic and hiked up this beautiful canyon
We even brought Anna. She loved itWe went and threw rocks in the river, Carter tried to eat them... we need to work on that. Jordan decided to wade in the water (good thing I accidentally bought her water socks yesterday!) and Kailey tried to splash Shaun, I haven't figured out why she hasn't realized don't mess with Dad, he always gets them worse and someone always ends up crying, and if he's lucky he gets all three of them going. He is such a kid! it was a fun day. He is doing the dishes now, gotta love that!

Carter's facing forward
we weighed him yesterday and he is just shy of 20lbs so we switched him. He loved it, seeing us in the mirror and being able to see out the windows. His eyes were watching everything and could tell he was big now like his sister and they rocked out to music all facing front!

6 years
its hard to believe that 6 yrs ago we were doing this (this was at the reception at Shaun's house)
and now we have 3 kids and i can't imagine life without him! a lot can happen in 6 years! Shaun surprised me and took me up to Sundance to the Foundry Grill. It was great! it has been a great 6 years, i wouldn't change a thing! he is the greatest husband out there. I'm a lucky girl!

Deliciousness
This could possibly be the best dessert I have ever made, and I know my desserts!
8oz semi-sweet baking choc
4oz dark choc baking choc
1 c butter
melt 30 sec at a time
1 1/4 c sugar whisk in
6 egg yolks
in a separate bowl beat 6 egg whites until stiff peaks and fold into choc mixture
line a 9" spring form pan with parchment paper so it hangs out and spray bottom and sides of pan
Bake at 325 for 1 hr. it will rise in oven and then fall a lot when taken out
cool on counter for 1 hr then refrigerate for 4 hrs. sprinkle with powdered sugar
I heated it up again and served with vanilla ice cream and hot fudge. YUM!
I got this recipe from bakerella who got it from Paula Deen
