Schools out for summer! today I was brave. I took the kids to run errands,alone, i think for the first time. Kailey woke up with a UTI so while Shaun went fishing I took all 5 kids to the Dr. they did surprisingly well, Ellie managed to steal a waiting room board book and Jordan and carter found about 50 roly polies each. their hands were covered in them. it was pretty gross to me but they loved it. so we headed to Kirklands where I may or may not have ran inside for literally 2 min to pick something up. thank you car TV and auto start cars. Then we headed to the pool to meet a friend. Decker slept the entire time, cause he's awesome. while Ellie and Carter swam on the steps and Kailey and Jordan swam with friends. Carter is pretty much a swimmer but it still scares me to let him go off without me in the pool. We packed a lunch and It was a successful day. I think I might be able to do the pool after all with 5 kids!
When we got home Shaun watched the 3 little ones and as a graduation from Kindergarten and second grade we started a new end of year tradition and got pedicures. I got one and the girls got to sit in the chairs and get their nails done too. who doesn't need a pedicure for summer??? schools hard! then Shaun took the girls to ice cream while I made cookies with the little ones. Summer is here! i don't know if I should be nervous or excited! one thing I do know is I can't wait until July for California month! wahoo!
