What better way to say "i Love you"

I have had writers block or something.. maybe its the fact that nothing really happens here and posting pictures of my kids doing the same thing over and over is slightly boring? Shaun headed off to Mexico Yet again. Kailey had a really hard time so Shaun drew on her leg... he said she isn't allowed to wash it off until he gets home (Fri) and that when she gets sad to look at it and know he loves her..
Well i guess I can let Kailey not bathe for a few days guilt free! Yesterday Kailey was going to the bathroom and goes "mom, I sure miss Dad. I was peeing and saw this and made me think of him." awesome! who doesn't like to remembered while got potty?
and just to Clarify it is written right above her knee on her leg.

Hair by Shaun

I have been talking about dying my hair darker for awhile now, but my all time favorite hair dresser also MMC secretary (were you secretary?) lives in Riverside so I went to Sally's today and had Shaun give it a go. he said " I feel kinda gay, I'm not gonna lie" which i don't blame him. He kinda looked it with the gloves, hair stuff and also stating "good thing I have watched What not to Wear so many times and know how to do hair" he did such a good job he is now in competition with DeAnne. If any one needs a hair change give him a call, all you have to do it put out. jk. i got mine done for free.

Wasting Time at the mall on V day

I know so boring but what better way to show your kids you love them by taking to the mall, dragging them into the Disney store 2x (because one obviously isn't enough) Shaun took Jason Skiing up at Sundance and After we just hung out. We cancelled our TV so we had to watch all our recorded show before sending it back! we had big plans!!!!

but Jordan's feet got cold. I didn't have the right boots for her

Carter Loves Kailey. It is so cute to watch these 2 interact. Kailey loves to entertain him and he just watches her like she is the coolest thing alive. She carries him around and loves holding him on the couch. Apparently Carter now likes Clifford, if Kailey is holding him. You can just tell by the way they are hugging.

Good Parent/Bad Parent?- you be the judge

Sunday we decided to get out of the house and go for a walk... we wanted to go check out Springville's downtown area and look in the windows. (we thought there was more than a block and 1/2 but apparently not...) not so much of a city center! (Good Parent)
So we buckled Carter in Jordan's front facing seat... (bad parent) he was TINY in her big seat!We threw Jordan and Kailey in the trunk.... (bad parent) Bundled up the kids (good Parent) and walked about a mile or so in the 30 degree weather (bad parent?)

Then after the walk we played at the park... This is the park in winter.. not so fun. they played a bit, threw some snowballs and started crying because their hands were freezing... ( bad parent)

I am jealous of people who live in warm weather... some day it will come again!

"Baby" Carter

We tested Carter in the baby stroller.. I dont think he liked it.

We had iTunes on and were dancing by the comp. I think he likes music? Everytime music comes on he gets a huge smile and starts dancing. Its hilarious!

We attempted pigtails with Jordan this morning. She wanted 4 rubberbands? They lasted about an hour, she pulled them out and she was left with "old pigtail hair" )moms of girls. you knwo what I am talking about. still has the indents and looks like you never get your kids ready?)

Fun under the stairs

Well, the electrical is in... and so are the toys! Kailey and Jordan have been having fun playing under the stairs, its just their size!
The walls aren't in yet, but you can still play, that's all that matters right?

As you can see, the entrance is through the closet, don't mind the coats! and the doorway is about as big as Jordan. Its nice because once they are in they close the door and disappear!

Kailey moved all sorts of toys and books from her room to downstairs.
