My turn

It got me good. I think my body needed to rest after the week we had. I think I slept for 2 days (as much as a mom can sleep on spring break) but I got to snuggle this guy. And luckily he peed on on me. Life is good :/

Bridge run year 2

We did it again. I wanted to get under an hour but got 1:01. So close. But I beat Shaun. Even though he didn't train one. single. Day.

Carter wasn't to pleased with his pizza for dinner. He licked it and started crying and wiped his tongue on a paper towell. Never met a pickier eater 

But I get it. I looked at the dishes and almost cried too....

Easter egg hunt with carter

Easter eggs hunt at Carter's class today. Today I wasn't sure how I was going to get it all done. Its Friday. Shaun comes home at 12. I stayed up until 2:30 baking and with sick kids. We (Ellie and decker) went to Carter's Easter egg hunt which lucky for me was cancelled as a field trip and hosted at his school instead. Making it easier. Carter told me Kailey cried on the bus because a mean kid whacked her box of cupcakes for her teachers and ruined the frosting. I decided to be a cool mom and pick her up. Little does she know she's more help at home then school most days :). I took her Ellie and decker to breakfast at cracker barell and was able to get all I needed done. She babysat while I went to the store. Watched decker nap while I had a dr apt and is an all around helper. She's a pretty awesome kid. I love this kid. But I'm not sure if he belongs in public. 

Ellie is my other helper. Anytime I ask someone to unload the dishwasher she asks that be her job all the Time. Yes please!

Shauns gone again this week and everyone is taking their turn being sick. Tonight is decker turn. Ellie had croop. Jordan has allergies that won't let her sleep. Carter has a cough. This kid threw up in my bed and im petty sure I've slept 6 hours all week. And it's Thursday. Not my favorite week to say the least. 

If I had 4 million dollars... I'd be rich

The girls had a party and carter and I decided to take carter to Blackbeards cove for some go carts then we headed to a few stores, lunch at the Cracker Barrel (his choice) ans back to get the girls. This kid is truly amazing. I can hardly get him in trouble if I try, and I've tried :) all the girls lost coins for clothes out and stuff away. I couldn't find a single thing of his misplaced and he'd already put away his laundry. When he got home from school he hung up his backpack, packed his lunch and put away another basket of his clothes. Thank goodness for carter. He is my knight in shining armor. I think with Shaun traveling he's stepped it up as man of the house!

Ditch day surprise

After yesterday I decided I needed a break so in order to get Some beach time and to my dr apt Ellie had to miss school. :). So we got packed and as we backed out of the driveway Shaun pulled in! We had no idea he was coming home early, I think the guilt trip must have worked.  He looked dead. He took a red eye and instead of sleeping, watched movies so he told us to go the beach while he slept. We met Emily and Kathryn at isle of palms and it was super foggy but warm. It was much needed. I told decker not to throw sand. So he did.  Ellie and I found a bunch starfish by the dunes. So that was fun! Then off to ther dermatologist and back to Shaun. Who was still sleeping. I taught 3 hrs of piano. Which he slept through and I went to the store alone. It was the only time I went to the store in almost 2 weeks. And now bed time. Ellie and decker running down the beach

And... I'm done

It all starts out well. Off to la hacienda tonight for kids eat free. 

   I've been reading some posts and blogs and moms are so nice. They are patient and kind and love being moms so much. Don't get me wrong. I love my kids. More than anything. But I am at my ropes end today. I need a good run, maybe a clean house? A trip to the store alone??? A day at the beach? I can think of a bunch of things. Listening to decker cry " I want out" hasn't made my list, yet it's happening :). He's also yelling at the dog. Jordan forgot to do her homework but managed to play outside all afternoon. Ellie kneed Jordan in the back, carter couldn't stay in his seat. Decker sat under the table over half the time while yell singing  "let it go!" Not a joke. It's almost funny how bad one night can be. Tomorrow will be better. They kids will go to school. I'll try and make my dr apts, clean my house, bake and teach 6 piano lessons and probably make cereal for dinner. Tomorrow will be a great day. And today was a great day. It was just a day With some super fun bumps. 😳

Lap time

I love my children. A lot. Apparently at church they like me the most. This is Jordan, completely laying on my lap. I don't think I get a minute at church when I'm not hugged, Layed on, leaned on or sat on. I love them but sometimes I want to say. Sit in your own seat!

We have gotten rid of the chicks. Apparently they are against the hoa rules. Lame.

Today is day 6 of Shaun gone. I'm officially over him being away. I woke up sick yesterday. Hurt my back on Thursday (pretty sure the 4 kids who sneak in my bed at night played a part in that) and now I'm just plain bored. I need adult interaction and conversation. I love my kids but man I am exhausted. Granted, It's not that hard to feed them Taco Bell and cereal, Ramon soup and cereal. But by the end of the day in pooped. It's 8:26 and im seriously considering going to bed now. 

  I taught some piano this morning and then we have spent the whole day outside. I considered working out but decided after spending a good 4 hours in my workout clothes, I was good. I truly enjoy working out but my body must be telling me I need a break. 

  The neighbor kids all came to the fort In the back yard and decided to expand. They collected an assortment of junk wood from "the Forrest" and then took junk wood from the curbside trash down the street. I know. We are classy like that. They did a really good job. Nailed some boards together. swept some dirt, and made some curtains out of weed barrier. They spent all day outside. now they are crashed on my floor and in my bed. Clothes are ironed and Layed out for church in the morning and I think I'm going to follow suit. It is 8:43 after all. Peace out.

Shauns gone a long long long time

Well. Shauns gone for 2 weeks. Boo. The kids have been very very sad. More than I thought. Not that it isn't sad, but they seem more sad.  So I drove them to school thinking it would be a fun thing. Turns out. They like riding the bus in the morning and home?? So we played games at night and I took them to dinner at maddios pizza. It wasn't too hard! Day 2 we ate cereal and played more games. 2 days down 10 more to go...
