Jordan playing in the water
That looks like a lot of kids, one is trying to escape.
a cool picture of Kailey throwing the ball at Shaun
weird to think its sunset and the sun is sinking over the homes, not the ocean.
our lives keep on going

Today we decided to go on an adventure, and of course I forgot my camera. We headed to Sullivan's Island and went to Fort Moultrie. It is about 20 min from our house and A lot like Fort Sumter but way Awesomer! (yeah that's a word) they have bunkers, cannons, hills to climb on and its right on the beach. It was in operation 1776-1947. and used in the a few wars to protect Charleston. anyway, enough history. Kailey asked what the civil war was and I told her "it was when we fought the North" after I said it Shaun and I started laughing, like we are the south? haha apparently living here i have become confederate? funny how your brain can so quickly change to its surroundings... Kailey is such a great big sister, this is her helping Jordan read the scriptures. The other day carter grabbed my phone and said "mom, lets read the scriptures" funny how technology changes!

Yesterday Jordan came with me to a Dr. Apt. We also found out yesterday there is a Honey Baked Ham just down the street from us so we headed over there after. I didn't think the the kids would want one so I got one for me and Shaun, but Jordan decided she wanted half of mine. Being the awesome mother I am i begrudgingly gave half of my sandwich to her. (mind you I LOVE Honey Baked Ham. like LOVE IT!! so this was a big sacrifice)
I finished mine off in a matter of minutes and Jordan in the back goes "MOM, how do we even eat Peanut butter and jelly's? this is the bestest sandwich ever" i know right?! I agreed and told her they were my favorite. She keeps munching and in between bites goes (with all the drama voice of a 4 yr old): "oh mom, this is the bestest part of the sandwich" (pointing to the ham) "Its good huh, i told you that's why i love it!" a few more bites "this is the bestest bread I have ever had!" (it was on a croissant) "i know that's good too, they usually put it on a roll and that is just as good!" then she finishes "Can we go eat there EVERY day?" YES PLEASE! i wish! she is a girl after my own heart! and I, i mean we, heart Honey Baked Ham.

This year is flying by!!! I can't believe its February! I can honestly say I don't remember what happened in January. I think my brain is suffering from memory loss, I'm assuming its 4 kids. I have had this problem lately where I will start a sentence, and forget what I am saying mid sentence. seriously, its bad. It happens in all aspects of my life. I will stand up with a thought to go get something and I will have no idea what I was doing. Or pull out a pen to write something down and forget before I even get the pad of paper. it has become VERY annoying. Apparently I need to eat some more brain food, because mine is deteriorating as a rapid pace.
Our family has been sick pretty much since February began. Carter got croop, then a cold which he gave to Kailey who gave it to Jordan who gave it me and Ellie. We are the sick ones this week. Shaun is out of town so im lucky enough to take care of kids while feeling sick. We instigated a no TV policy during the week this year but this week the TV is the best babysitter around! Ellie is crawling all over the place. she is an explorer and loves to put everything in her mouth. it really has up'd my cleaning. Shes so funny, she crawls around for hours at a time talking to herself (ba ba, ba ba) looking for left over crumbs, Marty gra beads, rattles or if shes lucky a piece of paper to gnaw on. Carter has increased his vocabulary and now say "OH MY GOODNESS" to just about everything. or you ask him to do something and "he's busy" he is one funny kid. Jordan wants to wear tights every single day "because they are cozy on her toes" and Kailey told me she "has a talent for organizing" where do kids come up with these things? although they are all true. They must get it from me, cause I'm pretty funny.
