The other day we were getting ready for bed, and the good parents we are told the kids to go get their PJ's on and get ready while Shaun watched TV and I read a book... so I am upstairs and hear the girls laughing and playing and running around. I think nothing of it, I see Jordan running around naked and think its funny, but keep reading. I ask Shaun to read them their story and put them down, he comes up goes in their rooms and says "OH NO, CALLIE did you know Jordan has her diaper off?" i say "yeah they were just playing, why?" it turns out Jordan was poopy and that is why she took her diaper off, when Shaun went to go read to them this is how we found them... Jordan was laying quietly waiting for Kailey to put her diaper on. Luckily it was a nice hard little poop that stayed in the diaper and didn't get anywhere, I didn't realize until after I saw them that i remembered Kailey chasing Jordan around with a diaper and that is why Jordan was naked and they were both laughing. Maybe I should pay more attention??? but really funny!

Shauns Make-shift swing

As many of you know we have a gigantic 60ft flag pole in our front yard that continues to cause problems with the model home people next door, well they put up another flag and left for the day, so Shaun took it down and we put it back in their model home and posted a do not use sign on our flag pole (it is ridiculously loud at night, flapping in the wind) Well after he did that he tried to figure out how to make it so they can't use it anymore, but in the process decided to use it with the girls.... it was all funny until Shaun swung Kailey into the tree. it wasn't funny for Kailey anymore but we found it quite hilarious!

Swimming in April!

I have been so ready for summer that even though it was windy and only like 70 i told Kailey she could get in the pool, we basically made it into a hot tub and they only got in for like 5 min, but they had fun! Jordan was so excited waiting for it to fill up she would just hold the hose and stare at the pool. Our white trash days are finally beginning with the ghetto pools! I cant wait for more sunny days!

Biking down Provo Canyon!

It decided to be warm in Utah! it was 70 today and I wanted to do something fun after weeding the yard, so we called our friends Heather and Jed and they joined us for a bike ride down Provo Canyon. I should have thought before inviting them, they both totally athletic and I am 8 months pregnant and awkward. Shaun Long Boarded down so I towed both children and when we got there it decided to become really windy and be headwinds, so even going down hill i had to fight. I will say i am a little beat and pretty embarrassed, i am not exactly a "biker" so yeah kinda funny, but it was fun, even though i was the last one and they waited for me a few times, and i was all sweaty and everyone, including Shaun was bored or waiting for me! Hopefully they cut me some slack though, the wind was pretty bad and i didn't have a wind cover AND Kailey and Jordan is a lot of weight, plus my fat belly i had to pedal with my legs to the side. totally cool i know!

Cinderella!

So yeah shes 3 but she can still do my housework can's she?? I was moping and the kid likes to help, what can i say, pick up a mop and JOIN THE PARTY!! She is so funny, she wont let me sweep or wipe off the counter without her helping me, sometimes i have to secretly clean while she has a show on so I can hurry up and get it done. The other morning she came into the room and said "Dang it, I forgot to make my bed and that is the first thing i am supposed to do in the morning." I am training her well! if only I could get Jordan to pitch in, she wont even listen to me.

Kite Days, I mean Day

It has been warm but super windy so we bought a dollar kite at Wal-mart and flew a kite! Kailey and Jordan both loved it. Jordan likes to try and tear it apart especially the streamers and Kailey just want to look at it, but not let it go really high. So when She flew the kite with Shaun she wasn't too happy, he of course doesn't care what they want and flew it as high as it could go and go it stuck on the roof! awesome! so we went inside and the watched a show instead!

Krispy Kreme Kraving!

So lately i have been craving not so healthy food! When Shaun was out of town, we went to Krispy Kreme and became addicted, It is one of those places that you eat and eat and then don't want for a few years, well, its been a few years and i am now pregnant! (my last Krispy Kreme phase was when i was pregnant with Kailey) Since Shaun has been back we have gone about once a week. but i think the phase is over... but sour cream doughnuts are on my new favorite. last time it was the chocolate with sprinkles.

Happy Birthday Jessie!

We had a nice little party for Jessie's birthday, she turned 20 and wanted our famous BBQ Pizza. She had 12 friends over and had 3 cakes. I am such a good sister! Jessie you owe me someday!

Little kid Big bed

So here they are in their bed they have to sleep together. they have both started fighting well, racing to get he best spot which is the one closets to the wall so they dont get kicked off or roll off at night (that happens!) the funny part is they sleep so well together! And When Kailey wakes up to pee at night, 2 seconds later, here comes Jordan holding her blanket coming it the hall to follow her and then stare at us (me) while i pretend to sleep so until they both go back to bed.

They all played so well together and seemed to have a blast. Until Hallie fell off the swing and Kailey laughed... I guess she isn't the most sensitive kid... I am hoping she laughed to make it seem like it wasn't a big deal but you never know with her. :)

Well, i got a new camera yesterday! we'll see if it works... Ashley came in town and stayed with us last night, it was so fun to see her and the family! we took a few pictures just before they left. disclaimer. I am 30 weeks pregnant!

missing my camera! and Jordan in a BIG BED!

Well, its official, my camera is lost, i have no idea where it went but it is a sad day, i thought if i cleaned my house it would show up, but nope. I think i have lost a lot of brain cells lately because i am losing everything! in the past few weeks i have lost, my camera, my Costco card, library book, my recommend, babysitting kids shoes and my notebook that is with me everywhere! whats the deal? i am not normally like this! I am blaming it on the pregnancy but still!
So for now we get an updated written account of our lives... Jordan has moved into a big kid bed! kinda sad but it felt time, seeing as she is being kicked out by a soon to be baby brother. We tried this about a week and a half ago and it worked amazing! We tried to put Kailey in the other part of the bunk bed but they both opted to sleep together. I was a little nervous but they just go to sleep.. is that weird to anyone else? I read them a few stories and they both go right to sleep?! They are really cute, every time we check on them one of them has their hand wrapped around the other cuddling, Kailey likes the inside part because she "doesn't want to fall off" which Jordan did last night, kinda sad but mostly funny. I heard a thump and her crying and I went in to move her and she had already fallen asleep again on the floor, pretty funny. They both like bed time now, which is amazing seeing as Kailey would NEVER go to bed on her own! now they are both in bed by 8:30. who would have thought my kids on a routine?! Shaun and I are in bed by 9 so its even better! :)
well that was my long saga for the day, and hopefully i will get a camera soon to capture the snuggling.
