its amazing how different a trip downtown with 2 kids and 3 adults can be! market, lunch and back before he girls were out of school.

On our way home from Hilton head we drove through historic Beaufort. I dont know if we missed the sights because it was Sunday, but we saw a park and cannons and thats about it. but it was a cute little town

Kailey can ride a bike on flat ground. I never realized we have no hills for her to practice slowing or stopping. so when we headed down a skinny bridge she crashed. she got back on, but it wasnt as fun for her, or any of us after the fall.

Shaun decided to hook the trailer up to Kailey's bike and she cruised around the parking lot with Jordan and Carter. You can tell they loved it.

My parents came in town friday and sat morning we headed to Hilton Head. Only about a 2 hr drive for the weekend. It was the first "cold" front of the fall, so that was a bit of a bummer and drizzle. But it was still fun to get out of town and see what all the talk about Hilton Head was about? I'm not eactly sure still. It was a quaint little town, but felt a lot like mount pleasant, lots of trees to hid the shopping areas, beachy, bike trails all over. We headed to a boardwalk, which was kinda hard to find? ate at a restaurant everyone raved about, but it was meh. then we went for a bike ride.

In case you wanted to know what were doing on Saturday we went to the beach. Some friends bought a water weenie groupon and Kailey and I joined them. IT WAS AWESOME! while we had the usually tubby person in back (in bear lake that person will remain namless.... cough cough jacob) they had a hard time getting on and off, but dont worry, while riding we saw a dolphin. so I fell off and swam with it, then i hoped on its back and had a pretty cool dolphin ride. then the water weenie came back around and I got back on, had a few more good rides then went back to the beach where we body surfed and played in the sand with the starfish.

that night we went down to the pier and went crabbing. caught 1 crab but over 100 shrimp. I have become master of the sea. just call me fisherwoman of the sea, i'll respond. all in all it was a normal super exciting saturday. Bear Lake smare lake jacob!
