The Day When Jordan Turned 3

Shes 3! crazy, she's felt 3 for some time, but now that she's 3 she feels 2...

We were on our way home from Seattle and stopped at Mike and Wendy's to celebrate with family and CousinsThe Cousins, who know what Cake means! Carter and Mom watching her open presents
Kailey loved getting excited with Jordan, I'm sure she was thinking "we got some awesome presents for your birthday Jordan!"

The Day of Nils' Wedding

So they might have done things backwards having kids before getting married.. oh wait those are our kids

We headed to Seattle to go to Nils and Claudia's wedding. It was a really short trip and LOTS of driving and we packed it all in! we drove about 10hrs the first night, then got to Seattle around 12 and went to the Discovery museum with cousins, then met up with Nils and Claudia and went to the park. Sat was the Big Day we went to the wedding and then a BBQ and headed home stopping in Boise and getting home last Sunday night! the kids did really well especially since they were in the car for about 80% of the time. We were really glad we got to go!

Nils and Claudia getting married. At the hotel, apparently I forgot Jordans suit so she borrowed Carters stuff. she's small enough it fit, don't mind the fact she looks like a surfer BOY! we have been doing pigtails a lot lately!
Jordan and Kailey on the boardwalk at a park looking over the river ( I think its a river?)
Carter swinging

Nils and Shaun reuniting over a good swing, actually an underdog...

The day at the Discovery Science Museum

This was a lot harder than it looks! tracing your finger by looking in a mirror

Riley Rae, Kailey and Jordan... for some reason Jordan is always a mess. It was fun to meet up with my cousins in Seattle. Taylor and Jaden meet us there with some more second cousins. good thing they had nothing planned that day, except to get lost in Seattle!
Sometimes Kailey smells like this
And sometimes Jordan smells like this....
Shaun was enjoying sitting at the big kid table!

Yeah Jessies here!

Jessie and Chris came to town on their way to Boston. Chris got into Harvard and they will be doing the school thing for the next few years. They came and visited for a few days and it was so fun we always forget to document it! we played some good tennis (3-1 with the Condies winning, i'm sure they will want a re-match but the same score will prevail) went to eat at their favorite Utah restaurants, Happy Sumo, Gurus, Pita Pit and some homemade BBQ pizzas and of course dessert everyday!) we sure will miss them, its a good excuse to get out to Boston!

Road Trip

Shaun went to Seattle so we decided to take him to the airport and head up to visit Ryan, Annalyn and Luke. We got there at 9am and we were exhausted! After a quick nap we went to the Titanic museum that was in Idaho Falls. Surprisingly the girls really liked it, they liked the discovery room the best which had nothing to do with the Titanic, but Kailey asked a bunch of questions and they likes touching the "ice burg" This horse was inside the museum. no cameras were allowed inside. we might have snuck a few pictures.
we headed back to Rexburg and Ryan gave the girls motorcycle rides. Jordan got scared when the ATV turned on and backed into the hot exhaust pipe on the turned off motorcycle leaving a huge burn on the inside of her knee crack that turned purple, white and blistered over. Poor kid but its looking better, she is limping around everywhere but we bandaged it up and put an ace bandage which makes her feel cool. The next day the weather let up a bit and we went to the zoo. Sat on a chicken

"legally" fit 4 kids and 2 adults in a 5 seater car. As you can see Luke was happy, he had the best seat in the car. ( he actually was happy but not in the picture) Carter was happy to get bumped to a booster seat, but Jordan... not so happy being squished against the car door.

We pet some goats
It was a really quick trip, Thursday morning to Fri night, but it was nice to get away and have a few days with just my kids and no one Else's. Thanks Ry and Annalyn for putting up with us!

The little guy turned 1

I thought it appropriate to go to Jumpin Jacks for his b-day, seeing as that is what put me into labor and brought him into the world! Kailey and him playing on the kid toys
A few b-day presents. Grandma Rhonda got him a tickle me cookie monster, he was a little scared at first but loves it

His new bike, i know a little early but we needed some boy toys around
We celebrated lunch by eating at Red Robin, his choice! he picked french fries and a sundae. we teach them young to go for the good stuff
My happy little one year old who seems to be fattening up just fine! and is even taking a step or 2 and standing all on his own. It makes me sad thinking he will only get bigger.
its official, he's one! it seems like in the last few weeks its becoming obvious he's a boy (beside the anatomy part) he chooses cars over the girls dolls, chooses to eat rocks rather than play with the flowers and is becoming mischievous! he is wiggling out of the high chair, climbing on strollers, spinning wheels and is so proud of himself. luckily he is to cute to get mad at and gets away with anything.

Shaun, Scotty and Nils

We couldn't help fraggle, you have much improved since freshman days! i cant help but laugh at this one.
This picture explains a lot.... jk

We went through some old pictures last week or so and found a few that he wanted me to post.
