Happy Halloween

I took the 3 older ones out and we went a block or two. way to much candy! so we went home dropped off carter, he just wanted to eat his spoils and picked up Ellie. and went down one more road. the girls loved it. i had to have Jordan wait at each house because she would run from house to house and leave me and Ellie behind. i mean free candy. what was I thinking slower her down! it was the perfect temp and had about 5-7 groups of trick or treaters. it was a fun night. but I'm not sad the Halloween season was over. but the candy rationing will be going on for months!

Shes so big. and cute. she has the funniest camera face. she will smile and smile and then when i disappear behind the camera. this is the look I get.

the week of touring

This picture is so funny. Its Jordan talking to one of the workers at the Plantation. They had a presentation about the slaves and she was in one of the buildings demonstrating how to make sweetgrass baskets. Jordan was so funny, Mary became Jordans new best friend. she let Jordan help make the baskets and every time we passed where she was Jordan would run and look for her. she told me all about her. She is such a talker!!!

we went on a Carriage ride around Downtown Charleston. Carter fell asleep on grandpa and Ellie slept on me. it was great

We went to the Boone Hall Plantation. Jordan and grandpa had so much fun together. She sure had fun being his sidekick. She asked if she could go live with him. i told her I didn't know when I could get her. she said, that's Ok, they will take care of me. Sad!!!

I Haven't done much touring because i wanted to save it for guest (hint hint, we need visitors!!!) and boy did we have fun, and we have LOTS more to do!

We got our first babysitter and took my parents out for a night on the town. it was so pretty, fun, perfect weather and we got to see a few sights.

he can see

i'm jealous of my husband. We've (I've) been throwing the idea out every time one of those fliers come out that it would be awesome to see without putting in contacts. I've had them since we got married, Shaun convinced me sight is a good thing. so 8 years now. the other week was Shaun's birthday and I thought, "man he's getting old, he should have the gift of sight while he can!" so I set up an appointment, he wore glasses for 1 week, it was hot let me tell you! and then the next day he could see. no more glasses, no more contacts. how is that even possible. technology is amazing! and I'm jealous. i'm still in contacts and I will be for a while.

Grandma and Grandpa come to Charleston

down at IOP the weather was great and the water was good! We had a few hours while Shaun had his surgery and hung out

we went to the mall and grandma spoiled them and went on the train.

It was my Aunt Linda's Birthday so they took the girls up to North Carolina for the weekend, and Shaun and I had the younger 2 by themselves for the first time ever. they had a blast and went to the pumpkin patch. and we went to the beach!

Why did they have to leave? My mom and Dad come in town to celebrate my birthday and stayed a week! oh what fun we had!

Happy Birthday to my loving Husband, who happens to be out of town for the 4th week in a row (so not cool BTW) I can't imagine what I'd do without you. ok this post is kinda hard to write seeing as you arent home, and I am forced to do everything without you. but I guess that makes me realize how much I need you. I need you to talk to me before we go to bed, and come home from work so that I can have adult interaction. I need you to wake up at 6:30am to get kailey to school instead of me! I need you to pick the girls after running them all over, i think I've enrolled them in a lot, but they love it. I need you to watch the kids for a few hours or a few minutes daily so I dont go crazy, and so I can run errands, alone.
I hope you have a great Birthday. I wish we could celebrate with you, but Mike and Wendy's will have to do for this year.All i know is we better have lots and lots of more birthdays to celebrate. I am so lucky to have you in my life you are a great husband, a great father and I love you so so much! 30 is just the beginning, but i'm so glad you got there first, it sounds OLD!

Ellie isnt pictured, but dont worry she got her fair share of chocolate cake too. we celebrated his birthday on monday because he couldnt be home today. Love you!

The girls started Tennis on Monday. They loved it. Jordan goes first and has class for about a 1/2 hr. They played balancing games. Practice shuffling across the court, balanced balls on their rackets and practiced swinging. when she got in the car she said "mom that so awesome" Kailey was next, it happens that her new BFF Ellie, is in her class too. they have an hour. they started by running laps. should I worry when she is last and her friend is right in front of her? then they took turns dropping balls and catching them, they loved it, and it was fun to watch them.

Kailey is in the top one she's the one in the blue tank top and white skirt. Jordan is harder to see. Shes in a pink shirt and black shorts that kept falling down.

Happy Birthday Dad!

My Dad turned 61 today! wow, thats old. jk! October is a busy birthday month for us. My dad on the 1st, Shaun the 6th, Me the 14th and Shaun's Dad the 15th. I like to think all cool people are born in October. sorry everyone else. we are just a special breed, calm, collective, and very very good looking. So Happy birthday Dad, I'm pretty sure you'll never read this, but You have always been such a good example to me, I love you.
