Birthday Party time! Kailey is 7

Party time!

Everyone got a turn but Kailey got sad she didnt break it, so she got the final swings. gotta love how birthdays can be so "fun" for the birthday kids.

This week was birthday week for Kailey. We ended with a birthday party. Kailey had some girls over and we had a butterfly party. We made bags, decorated butterflies, went on a butterfly hunt, had a pinata, had pizza in the shape of a butterfly, ate butterfly cake, and opened presents. It was loud and it was fun! I can't believe she's 7. 7! how do they get so big so fast?

Kailey chose Olive Garden for dinner so off we went. they don't sing anymore but our waitress gave all the kids a little ice cream and she convinces another waiter to sing to her. It was very nice of them! I like going to restaurants when they behave, and they all did!

A day of servie

Our ward helped out with a few service projects around the community and since we have 4 kids we opted to watch other people's kids at the church. It was a great experience! the primary kids collected cans to donate to a local food pantry. Jordan said it was the best day ever. pretty sure it was because for 5 straight hours she was playing games with friends, eating and didn't get bored for 1 second!

Ellie was a great helper as well. She crawled from room to room supervising.

After the service project we played a little tennis and Ellie tasted the rackets. This girl is all smiles these days! gotta love that!

Coloring Contest

Shaun and I stayed up util 1am coloring eggs! the kids were in bed and it was fun. We decided to color all our hard boiled eggs! We got GOOD!

We had our friends the Simons over to color Easter eggs and have Peanut Butter Blossoms. We are lucky to have made such great friends to have Holiday fun with! It was surprisingly a calm event with 6 kids (Ellie didn't color any eggs)

Shaun went a little overboard with the puddles. Kailey was playing in the gutter, i know great parenting, so shaun decided to soak her before he took her on a walk. She loved it.

Spring break around town. We went to the beach, pool and pool everyday. it was nice and relaxing, even with 4 kids to just me

Easter Egg hunting...

the neighborhood assosiation threw an easter egg hunt and the Easter Bunny came! The older girls and I went and checked it out. the weather was great! Loving the Spring in the South.

Conference Sunday

It was a great day. It's weird conference not being on "normal" TV, so we watched conference on the Internet. We actually listened to it while being outside. In between sessions we went next door to the pond and went fishing and played a little tennis. Gotta love relaxing Sundays with the family, listening to uplifting words.
