MLK jr day!
the kids had school off this weekend so we took them a double feature of night at the museum and Shaun stayed with the older 4 and saw paddington bear while I took decker to lunch and nap time! That kid sure know how to throw a fit. He did not want to go home so after successfully throwing his shoes at me from the back seat he wouldn't let me unbuckle him. Once I got him in the house he threw his shoes back outside. So off to bed he went and 5 min later after hitting the door a few times with whatever toy he had handy he was out. It's almost funny how predictable he is. Yet super annoying. I hate to say it. But dude. Being kid #5. Sometimes you gotta roll with it. Nap time is not only for you. It's for me as well. Throwing things. Does not get your way. Biting hiting and pulling hair. Does not make friends. Hopefully he will Learn one day?!
Carter lost his 2nd tooth with no throwing up after. Success! Today everyone played with a friend while I baked and cleaned. Then we went to mellow mushroom for kids eat free Monday. The waitress spilled a water down Jordans back so she started crying. The waitress and manager comped all our food and gave her a tshirts to wear. Sweet! (It was my size!) thanks for taking one for the team jordy! You Rock

Carter lost a tooth
Yesterday Carter said his tooth was loose. When I checked sure enough his 2 bottom teeth were loose and his permanent tooth on one side was already coming in so I told him to get those teeth out!!
Night time Came and sure enough one was ready. Carter happens to be our biggest baby, in a good way😉 so he wouldn't even let me or Shaun try. I bribed him and finally he let me try once. I touched it with the paper towel land he cried. Shaun tried once with the same result. It was sooo ready. Bed time came and I told him not to swallow his teeth and as I put them to bed he was wiggling away. And he told me try again. It came out! It bled, he cried, he showed dad and then once the adrenaline wore off he said he felt sick and needed a drink. When he came back up he said he needed to throw up. He did. On the carpet. I told him to run to the bathroom and decker followed close behind. He threw up again on the carpet/bathroom floor as he rushed to the toilet decker slid in the bathroom slipping on the vomit and landing in it. It was hilarious. Until the smell came But still funny. I only hope the next tooth about to come out is a little smoother. With less throw up.

back at it!
Shaun told me the other day I have been doing no desserts in January for the past 6 years now. I had no idea how he knew this, until he said he read it on the blog... needless to say, its been awhile since I posted. New Years Resolution: blog again. I am not planning on every day, and I'll be lucky to get every week, but I can, and I will.
New Years is always a good time to start over right? This year has been GREAT! day 10 into the year and its been calm and manageable. Its been such a change compared to December. I felt like I was pulled in every direction, Cleaning was pretty impossible. I baked a TON for Boone and the Aquarium and a lot of Private orders. Ran a half marathon, I taught piano, tried to help at school and at least go to the parties. (I completely missed Ellie's. I had the day wrong.) Shaun was in charge of Christmas and my goal was to survive. Well, we are still here! mission accomplished! it was a whirlwind month but honestly I feel like I can do anything now and live so that's a bonus!
2015: I've signed up for a Sprint Triathlon, a half marathon and plan on a few other races throughout the year. Shaun is going to do another Half Iron Man and more races. Kids will be doing soccer, hopefully getting more piano in, and HOPEFULLY Decker can start to listen rather than do the EXACT opposite of everything I say. the only way to get him to do anything I want is to ask the opposite. not a joke.
