almost time.. but not soon enough

So this horse is pretty cool, but he bites! Kailey and Jordan wanted to pet him and when we tried, he totally bite me! more like nibbling but seriosuly tried! I have always not liked horses for some reason, they are just big and kinda scary, and now I have a reason! Who doesnt have a tractor sitting at the end of a road next to a really cool river and set of train track?

These are my awesome pictures I took around Springville, there are a few more, but i didnt want to bore anyone. We were planning on putting up "boy" pictures in the baby room, but turns out nature pictures work just as well and just take some driving around and a little picasa to fix up, I have a few others of a cool train and all the lovely livestock around here. We really live in the farm land yet so close to civilization. Our favorite part about Springville. These are all taken within 1 min of the house! I think its pretty cool.
Well, it seems like it should be any day now but i still have about 23 but hows counting? I am so ready everything seems like labor or my water breaking or something! I can't sleep (if ANYONE has ideas on this other than my usual Tylenol PM please let me know!) I am so uncomfortable, i am so irritable and i know it which is bad because i know i am being moody and there is nothing i can do about it other that say, i swear this has got to be hormones or something?! I am sure the girls and Shaun are ready for the baby to. I have decided to take TV away from the kids partly because i was hoping it would help them listen better (which it did) and partly because i feel bad having it on all the time i babysit. I think Shaun has the hardest time. Every time he comes home from work he wants to turn it on and Kailey says "Daaad, you aren't allowed to watch TV while we are awake" which in turn he has put them to bed around 7 several nights. they go so no complaining i guess... anyway, if anyone knows some secrets to get his baby here pass them on!
Ryan and Annalyn had their baby last wed, I am totally jealous of that! he is in the NICU but is doing really well, well better than he started. He was 7 LB 7 oz and named Luke. He is off all support and waiting to finish his rounds or hopefully round of antibiotics, Annalyn has been able to feed him for a day or so and the finally got to hold him on mon or tues, and should come home soon! They are handling it really well. Anyone who has a kid in the NICU knows how hard it is but you also know its the best place for the baby.

My little pregnant girl

Well, i don't know why but its funny stores have these things... we were at motherhood and Kailey tried it on and i have picture on another post but I went wedding dress shopping with Jessie and Jordan must have remembered it because she picked it up and tried to put it on. I guess people get married at all stages in life and need to plan for how big they will be during their wedding? so these are Jordan's pictures of her fake pregnant belly. i could barely get it under her shirt. I like how she put her hand on her back for support! i know how she feels, but hopefully not much longer....

Happy Anniversary in San Fransisco

Pier 2, there was a cool water thing with disgusting water that we walked through.
This is me very pregnant! i can't wait! why do get so fat and ugly during pregnancy? and does that ever go away?
my night picture.. i loved all the lights in the city at night, it seemed like there were things going on all the time in San Fransisco

Our first adventure was Lombard street. Shaun has never been here before so we did some of the sight seeing. it was windy and a little overcast so we had to buy jackets!
Ghiradelli Square! I wanted to get some pictures of us together because it doesn't normally happen, This was Shaun's response to me asking someone to take our picture"seriously Callie, you want a picture of 2 fat people easting ice cream!" I found it funny because it is so true! we just want to document how we go the way we are... buying and eating $8 ice cream at 10:00 at night! classic!!jk.
Our favorite activity was the Golden gate bridge.
Notice all the people, little did we know it was "bridging" day for girl scouts across America. there were 12 year old girls EVERYWHERE chanting and singing and stopping in the middle of the bridge everywhere! One leader told us there were supposed to be over 10,000 girl scouts in the city this weekend! why is it that 12-14 yr old look so awkward?

Well we made it! 5 yrs and 2.9 kids later we actually celebrate our anniversary! looking back it seems to have gone so fast, it really doesn't feel like that long, but at the same time it feels like we have been married forever! our anniversary track record:

yr 1- Kailey was born 9 days prior- Shaun still in school working at Back Yard Adventures

yr 2- amazingly i was not pregnant, but we didn't do anything because we were still in school and poor. i think i made him take me to the temple, i know, I am a blast!.

yr 3- i was 8 months pregnant with Jordan- Shaun just graduating, still poor- oh the life of having kids in college!

yr 4- not pregnant, just dinner- Shaun works at New Tech, just making it!

yr 5- you got it 8 months Pregnant AGAIN! i am seeing a pattern here! we are hoping next year we will be NOT pregnant and rolling in the money... one can hope right!

We had a lot of fun just getting away, it was very sparatic of us! we got a great last min deal from delta on may 9th and left the same day! Jessie is still in Provo so she babysat for us (thanks Jess) with her boyfriends Chris (thanks Chris!) I think I walked myself to death, those hills are killer and being pregnant does not help! we walked Pier 39, Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 2 had an art festival going on. We drove around china town, Lombard St, got lost off the Bay Bridge in Oakland (we decided we like to get lost and tr to find our way home) Went to fort Point where Shaun got to be part of a cannon loading demonstration! Walked across the Golden Gate ( i got some pretty good stares and plenty of comments with my pregnant condition.) Drove to Half moon bay and got some sand for my collection, ate at Boudins, Noah's bagels (YUM) In-N-out and a few other places. It was pretty cold with the wind and had to buy a sweatshirt or a 2... it was nice to not have to be looking out for a child every second and just be with Shaun. I am so lucky to have such a great husband who is just fun to be with no matter what we do! We did decide we are not the shopping/walking vacationers, but like to sit at a pool, read and not have a lot to do... it was still a lot of fun, but next vacation will involve a beach, pool and maybe a golf course? with lots of warm weather and not a lot of wind!

Grandma Rhonda and Grandma Ernie in town!

Grandma Ernie, Jessie and Kailey enjoying a night reading in bed!
We moved the rocker so grandma could sit in it, but Jordan liked to take it for herself!
Grandma Ernie sat in the chair during Kailey's party.. i think reading was a kinda hard for her with all those kids around! she should have taken her ear plugs out!

Well, Shaun was called out of town on business last min so he flew into South Carolina for a week. My mom decided to come visit with Grandma Ernie for Kailey's birthday and Annalyn and Ryan were going to be in town. It was really fun, we went out to dinner a few times and ran some errands ( i cant really do too much because i still babysit) but it was nice to not be alone the whole week. Grandma and I read some books together and Kailey and Jordan loved playing with her walker! Jordan also managed to learn to say grandma plain as day, it was so funny. she just blurted it out and mom and me looked at each other and said "was that Jordan" it was pretty funny. we had a lot of fun with them in town, i wish we loved closer. They love their grandmas!

Birthday party!!!

Decorating the cupcakes....
Spencer got Kailey a hair beader and tried it out! way to go Spencer, you should be a beautician!
Kailey and her rainbow/rose cake!
Opening presents!!

Here are a few of the kids... they decorated their own cupcakes.. there was a lot of dipping and licking into the frosting jars!
a few of the little girls her age.. she got totally hooked up in princess and girly things!!!
they were into her presents as much as she was!
Thanks Grandma for all your help!
At the park, here a few kids.....

So Kailey turned 4 and we had a party for her, a Crazy party!!!! Shaun was out of town on the Actual day (may 1st) so we had the party on the 2nd so he could come. After seeing all the kids and mom, he decided it would be best if he stayed upstairs and took a nap... (thanks for the help Shaun!) there were 21 kids 4 and under and 8 moms, 1 grandma and 1 aunt+boyfriend! CRAZINESS!!!! i don't really blame him! it was fun though we colored, played a few games, went to the park, opened presents and ate cake.

Kailey is 4! - i can't believe it!

Jordan at Red Robin, you can just see the mischief in her smile!

Her Sleeping beauty dress, she LOVED IT! from grandma Rhonda She chose her cake, confetti cake with blue and pink frosting, she was the one who put he sprinkles on.. a little overboard but it was her cake! Jordan was VERY excited for the fire!
The anticipation of eating the cake!
4 candles all blown out! my princess is all big!
her Other birthday cake that was at her party, she also picked this out from costo

I know, i do nothing and then post several things at one, but hey at least i am back posting and getting it done right? sometimes you just don't have time to do it everyday!
When she woke up in the morning the first thing she said was "today is my birthday!" as the day went on it only got better, she opened a few presents, helped me make a cake and said "how are we going to put fire on it, Dad isn't here" i told her i can make fire too, that was a big deal!

I cant believe how big she is getting, she is so smart and such a good kid, she is so helpful, loving and so sweet. She says the funniest things and says the biggest words. its funny to just here her talk! the other day Shaun gave her some earphone from his plane trip and she was like "oh dad, these are AWESOME, thank you SO much" it was funny, she has such a mind of her own and is such a blessing to me. she told me she doesn't want to be 6 because she wants to cuddle me forever, i think i can live with that!
We went to Red Robin for her birthday dinner with Grandma Rhonda and got a lovely princess dress from her she didn't take off the entire day, its her birthday who care right?

she got a kitchen from mom (because she was with me and knows i bought it) and then the kitchen supplies from Shaun because she didn't know they were coming, she hasn't quite got the concept all presents she gets are from both of us, mom does the shopping dad pays.. right?
