32 and beyond!

A 32 Layer cake as requested. He joked about wanting a 32 layer Cake when i made a 6 layer one for him. So i decided to surprise him. I made 4 different cakes, chocolate, Almond, Strawberry and his favorite funfetti. note to self: strawberry is tricky the first time you try it shouldn't be for a giant cake! The chocolate was too fluffy, which made it delicious but it caved and the whole cake fell about 10 min after assembly. Luckily we got a few pictures so he can't say i didn't try!

The kids were in on the secret and thought the cake was a  lot of fun. We invited as many people as we could think of to eat the cake and we still had a TON left over! My mom gave him a J Dawg shirt (as seen in picture) Thank you mom!

The day before his birthday we went sailing just us. (well a group of people but no kids) It was great! very low key and much needed. I sure do love this guy and the family we've built together. I am so lucky he was born. Thanks Chris and Clyde you made a good son.

And this is Decker. chilling in the hammock. He's awesome.
